Curt L. Massengale, O.D.

Arriving in Oklahoma City in 1989, Dr. Massengale has been providing primary eye care for patients of all ages in Moore and South Oklahoma City. Dr. Massengale strives to offer comprehensive eye care solutions to improve each patient’s eye health and overall vision. By providing evidence-based eye care, patients can expect to receive the latest care protocols and best possible options for their specific eye health and vision needs. 

Dr. Massengale is from Lexington and graduated high school in Purcell Oklahoma. He attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, before earning his Doctorate of Optometry from the NSU College of Optometry in 1984. He began his professional career at the Tulsa Eye Clinic where he specialized in contact lenses for external ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. He moved on to work in other private practice settings where he gained experience managing and treating complex ocular diseases. He is certified in anterior segment laser procedures.

Currently, Dr. Massengale is an adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Midwestern University Arizona College Of Optometry where he mentors the next generation of optometrists.

Dr. Massengale is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.

Personally, he has four grown sons, two who are local residents, one other son is a police officer in Oklahoma, and his oldest is on active duty with Naval Special Forces.
